  • My Prayer

     

    Matthew 19:2

    ...Large crowds followed him there, and he healed their sick...

     

     

    this verse is so out of the blue.

    if you read the verse before verse 2, and the verses after verse 3,

    you'll notice that verse two didnt really fit in.

    it's like meant to be a separate story.

    yet, i bet most people wont even notice.

    why?

    well, because thats just Him.

    thats just what He does.

    so normal.

    all over the books of the gospel you see people just following Him around, listening, or getting healed.

    you know, i personally have a desire to be like Jesus.

    but, no one follows me around (that would be freaky).

    i'm even afraid to pray for healing sometimes, because of the fear that the person won't receive the healing that I asked for.

    I need to change my mindset.

     

    Lord, give me the wisdom and knowledge to say the right things at the right time. Lord, teach me to see the needs of the people. Lord, help me to love those around me. Lord, help me to have courage to do the right thing. Lord, I want my heart to beat in sync with Yours. I want to be sensitive to Your spirit and Your movement. I want to be more like You, Jesus. That is the desire of my heart.

    Wow, because I want my viewers to know from a lady's perspective. What's two major differences between girls and women?

    Duhh, maturity and their figure. Do you like women or girls?

    Both. Since your birthday is coming up, what would be the most surprising gift to get you?

    I would say, a nice dress or maybe tonnes of chocolate in a big box. Why are you laughing?

    Because that was kind of a trick question. Now you're gonna be Expecting it. Not surprising anymore. HAHAHA. Okay back to business. What is the most important quality that a mom should strive to have?

    Good cooking skills, fair judgement, loving, and cute. Yes. A mom has to be cute so that her husband won't get bored of her. Like duhh you don't want to talk to a boring person for the rest of your life. So bad oh me. Okay I'll ask you, what is the most important quality that a husband should have?

    God lover. That way, he learns to love his wife perfectly the way God wants. I guess...... Hmmmmm. My turn. If you could time-travel, which year or time period would you like to experience and why?

    When I was in my moms womb, because I want to see how happy they are to have me. And if my dad is treating my mom well. If you are given a choice, would you like to be a girl or a boy?

    Ummmmmm. I'm not sure. I haven't been a girl before so I can't really judge which I would have preferred. But, I'd say a boy. Because, I get to be more carefree and get away with it. And because I'm less dependent. Like I can take bus or go places without a guardian. Oh Oh Oh. And I get to take care of girls. That always feels good. Green eyes or Blue eyes?

    I'll go for green eyes. Brown eyes or black eyes?

    Unfair! That was my question. Okay... Ummm.... Brown. Why green eyes?

    Because it's hot when a guy or girl has green eyes. If you can choose one person to shut up, who shall it be and why?

    ............................. OH! I was going to say some of those annoying useless youtube vloggers who teach bad lessons to the world. But I'll change it to.... The Devil! Ahhhh. That would be nice. Because, you know why. Right? Anyways, next question. What does your dream house look like?

    A white wooden house... with a nice design... and there's a big beautiful garden... with lots of white roses and white daisies... umm... a nice husband... with a son and a daughter... playing around the garden... oh and my room ceiling can be opened to see the moon and stars... there will be two brown fluffy dogs... and in my kitchen I would like to have a fridge in a lift kind of way so that when you are upstairs, you can just press the button and it will go up and you can get the food from there. You know, I love food. But I don't want my daughter and son to be fat though. Ooops sorry, you didn't ask me about the family thing right? I was just kinda excited. Haha. Would you like to be an artist?

    I've considered being an actor before. Inspired by Jim Carey. Honestly. But... I don't really like the limelight. Also I've considered being a musician... Like a real musician getting paid to play... I did have a band with a group of my close friends. We made awesome music. Still yet to be finished and published. If ever that time came. Hehehe. Last question from me. Whats the most romantic thing you've done for somebody of the male species?

    I bought a ring and I carved our name on the ring and I made a scrapbook about our story. Like how we met and ended up being together. That was on our monthsary. Yeah. I was just that kinda typical girl that, you know, would do this kinda girly stuff. I think it's very romantic. Because the me now, I don't think i would do this, 'cause it's kinda funny and embarrassing. But I wouldn't mind to do that though, in the future? Okay, last question from me to you, imagine if you have a girlfriend, and it's a long distance relationship, and tomorrow is her birthday, and you're supposed to write a letter to her. What would the content be?

    I would talk about her amazingness. The End. Hahaha. Wow. 

    I was expecting you to reply in a letter kind of way you know hahaha. Sigh. Aaron you disappoint me.

  • Did God Allow This To Happen To Me?

     

    Parable of the Wheat and Weeds

    Here is another story Jesus told: “The Kingdom of Heaven is like a farmer who planted good seed in his field. But that night as the workers slept, his enemy came and planted weeds among the wheat, then slipped away. When the crop began to grow and produce grain, the weeds also grew.

    “The farmer’s workers went to him and said, ‘Sir, the field where you planted that good seed is full of weeds! Where did they come from?’

    “‘An enemy has done this!’ the farmer exclaimed.

    “‘Should we pull out the weeds?’ they asked.

    “‘No,’ he replied, ‘you’ll uproot the wheat if you do. Let both grow together until the harvest. Then I will tell the harvesters to sort out the weeds, tie them into bundles, and burn them, and to put the wheat in the barn.’”

    Then, leaving the crowds outside, Jesus went into the house. His disciples said, “Please explain to us the story of the weeds in the field.”

    Jesus replied, “The Son of Man is the farmer who plants the good seed. The field is the world, and the good seed represents the people of the Kingdom. The weeds are the people who belong to the evil one. The enemy who planted the weeds among the wheat is the devil. The harvest is the end of the world, and the harvesters are the angels.

    “Just as the weeds are sorted out and burned in the fire, so it will be at the end of the world. The Son of Man will send his angels, and they will remove from his Kingdom everything that causes sin and all who do evil. And the angels will throw them into the fiery furnace, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. Then the righteous will shine like the sun in their Father’s Kingdom. Anyone with ears to hear should listen and understand!

     

     

    This was my devotion today.

    i hope you understand the main point.

    but something i found interesting was that God allowed the weeds to be there.

    God allows troubles and adversities in our lives.

    really ka?

    would God allow cancer?

    would God allow tsunamis?

    hmmm.

    most famous question in the world: Does God actually Love us?

    i just had an argument with one of my most valued friend.

    and i hate arguing with her because i love the friendship that we have.

    why does God allow misunderstanding?

    why does God allow the devil to put evil thoughts into our minds?

    why doesnt He just take away troubles and problems?

    He can right? He can do anything!

    but the harvester said "you’ll uproot the wheat if you do"

     

    so i guess that without trouble

    we will learn nothing in life.

    we will not grow.

    we will die.

     

    God wants us to grow.

    into the perfect being that we have been created to become.

    hello everybody.

    i'm jenna.

    i come from canada.

    i joined the Miss Universe Pageant 2012 (because im pretty),

    but got disqualified as a finalist for not being a "naturally born" female.

    though i was born into a male body,

    it just... wasnt me. hehe.

    so i started living a life of a girl from age 4.

    i began a hormone therapy at age 14.

    and had my sex change at 19.

    yippeeeeeeee

    it was painful. but worth it baybehhh.

    now i got the whole world backing me up.

    discrimination, you going downnn.

    since when did the pageant get to decide who is female and who isn't?

    i got all the credentials to prove it.

    i got other ways to prove it too~

    and you know whats the best thing about this?

    its that "The Miss Universe Organization might reverse its earlier decision and allow a transgender woman to enter the Miss Universe Canada pageant" in the future!

    i've started a revolution.

    oh my grandparents would be so proud of me.

    not only that.

    i'm pretty!

    SO!

    who do you think is female?

    and who isn't?

    i thought we learned in biology that we all have some male hormones and female hormones in us.

    just that some have more than others.

    the news just refer Jenna as 'her' and 'she'.

    so if the news calls her a 'she' then its gotta be legit right?

    this is a world of business.

    businessman Donald Trump, is a businessman.

    he owns the Miss Universe organisation and is looking to earn money.

    if the world wants to see a transgender enter the pageant, he'll make it happen.

    give the people what they want to see.

    this is the entertainment industry.

    look at reality shows like 'survivor' and 'amazing race'.

    they got these couple games or series right?

    and surely there would be one or two gay couples.

    why?

    because it makes a whole new experience for the viewers.

    it makes people watch it.

     

     

     

     

    i don't really want to make any conclusions for this blog post today.

    p.s. i have to admit that the hormonal therapy did make her/him pretty. maybe i should try some since im so unpretty.

    When Jesus heard this, he was amazed. Turning to those who were following him, he said, “I tell you the truth, I haven’t seen faith like this in all Israel!

     

    why did i ask such an outrageous question?

    well, according to "google: define amazed",

    it means "Surprise (someone) greatly; fill with astonishment."

    I believe Jesus is all knowing and all understanding.

    which means... He cannot be surprised. right?..

     

    But He can be amazed.

    filled with awe.

    in such a humanly sinful, self-centered, weak state that we are in,

    it is amazing to see one Gentile, not Jew, who showed such devotion and faith.

     

    lesson:

     

    can God be amazed by me and what little I have to offer to Him and His cause?

    i think yes.

    not surprised, but amazed. filled with joy and great pride.

    "This boy, with just tiny gift, with his little resource,

    can bless Me and My kingdom according to the capacity I have provided for him."

    Wow. imagine God saying that to me.

    awesome.

     

    lets practice faith and trust in Him.

    lets amaze Him.

    Him who amazes and surprises us always.

    "Hallel", or "Praise" in english, is a song sung during Passover feasts as tradition.

    which is the feast Jews remember how God saved the Israelites out of Egypt.

    the Hallel is comprised of Psalm 113-118 which is originally one song before they were collected into psalms.

     

    during Jesus' time, they also celebrated the Passover feasts.

    and so did Jesus.

    the most famous record of Jesus at a Passover feast is His last one before He was betrayed and sent to suffer.

    yeap.

    He knew what was gonna come, yet He still sang the Hallel during the Passover feast.

    Still celebrated God's goodness.

    wow.

    how to celebrate when u know you're gonna DIE?

    either He's got serious mental problems,

    or He's a REAL man for just delighting in fulfilling God's will.

    3 King Herod was deeply disturbed when he heard this, as was everyone in Jerusalem. 

    4 He called a meeting of the leading priests and teachers of religious law and asked, “Where is the Messiah supposed to be born?”

    5 “In Bethlehem in Judea,” they said, “for this is what the prophet wrote:...

     

    just like a marketing campaign, prophets all across the timeline of history advertised the coming of a messiah.

    a saviour.

    they all got a word or vision from God about a king, a shepherd, a hero.

    and all these prophets didnt know each other.

    they didnt plan with each other.

    all coming from different ages of time.

    how could they predict the future?

    they cant.

    but God was revealing Jesus to the world.

    When Jesus came into this world, He fulfilled ALL the prophesies about Him.

    except those about Him coming back once more (thats about to happen soon).

    in Matthew chapter 2 ITSELF, the only thing that repeats itself is about how Jesus fulfills this prophesy or that prophesy.

    check out verse 5, 15, 17, and 23.

    very interesting.

     

    according to J. Oswald Sanders in his book "The Incomparable Christ"

    "Jesus was the Crown of Old Testament prophecy".

    the Jews at that time were SO EAGER for that Hero to come.

    and He did.

     

    Thats why people get so excited.

    its like when all the critics and news talk about "the upcoming hit movie: hunger games!"
